Why Red Flashlight?

I named this project Red Flashlight because it's a technique I thought of to find my lost cat in the dark. It's extremely effective and I haven't seen anyone else recommend it before.

I walked around my block clockwise at night, scanning everything with the flashlight, and continued expanding the radius, circling in more blocks until I found her.

You can beat the odds with sheer determination. Just keep looking. This technique works so well, because even a frightened, hiding animal is going to look at you as you're walking by, and their eyes glow so brilliantly in the dark with a red flashlight, you'll easily spot them.
